Description:
The Conservancy’s Nature Center houses over 125 species of local wildlife including marine and freshwater fish and invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, and raptors. Participants in the 6-month Environmental Education and Animal Husbandry internship program will gain experience in several fields such as education, museum interpretation, and animal husbandry. You will also gain extensive knowledge of Southwest Florida’s unique ecosystems and assist the staff in bringing environmental awareness to thousands of students and visitors. $300 bi-weekly cost of living stipend and dorm accommodation, including laundry, provided.
