The post will lie within the Lancashire Environment Record Network (LERN) team in Lancashire County Council (LCC). LERN is the local environmental records centre for Lancashire, we collect, collate, manage and disseminate information relating to the natural environment of Lancashire: its habitats, species and protected areas. LERN provides environmental evidence to inform decision making by the County, District and Unitary councils of greater Lancashire, as well as supporting the work of voluntary sector environmental and community bodies.
