The role of the Centre Manager is to ensure the strategic vision, financial stability and sound management of the two Local Environmental Record Centres (LERCs). The successful candidate will provide day to day management of the centres and help to generate and maintain business. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of policies, work plans and contracts and management of finances. You will have direct line management of six members of staff. The role will also involve promotion of the centre’s services and activities, and fund-raising to support their work. It will also be essential to liaise with biological recorders; other data providers, other record centres and the National Biodiversity Network.
