Job Description and Duties

The Department is seeking an Environmental Scientist for the big game program that will be responsible for developing studies, managing data, and performing statistical analyses to support big game resource assessment and monitoring. Under close supervision of the Senior Environmental Scientist Supervisor, the incumbent will maintain various large datasets and associated metadata following Department policy and procedures; compile, analyze, and report on program data generated from various big game resource assessment efforts; conduct population modeling to evaluate the effects of conservation actions, recreational harvest, climate change, and other anthropogenic pressures on
