The reporting location for this position is Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA).  This position will work under the supervision of the Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisor) at Ocotillo Wells SVRA located within the Ocotillo Wells District. The Environmental Services Intern (ESI) will work with the Resources Department to conduct habitat monitoring surveys, including avian, reptile, small mammal, vegetation, and flat-tailed horned lizard surveys. The ESI will gather, input, and analyze the data gathered by staff using Microsoft Access, Esri Collector/Field Maps, and ArcGIS Online.
