JOB SUMMARY This position in the Environmental Policy and Engagement group of SCS Environmental Affairs (EA) supports overall environmental regulatory assessment and development, policy analysis and strategy development across natural resources media areas. Areas of responsibility could include supporting policy around utility infrastructure siting, development, and operations, including considerations for wildlife interactions, water resources, and conservation planning. Additional initiatives could include strategy around the deployment of natural climate solutions, development of conservation research projects, and supporting the general priorities of the Southern Company subsidiaries.
