Roding Valley Meadows form one of the largest continuous areas of species-rich grassland in Essex, comprising traditionally managed hay meadows, flood meadows and marsh.  The reserve attracts a large number of visitors who use the reserve for walking, general outdoor recreation and to enjoy the wildlife. The Assistant Ranger will support the Roding Valley Meadows Ranger in all aspects of reserve management. The ideal candidate will be a positive person that has a keen interest in protecting wildlife, is passionate about nature and enjoys engaging with people.
