About this exciting opportunity As an Experimental Scientist you will be responsible for providing expert technical support in one or several areas of molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, genomics and field activities. The position will provide lab and field based experimental skills and act as a captain of data records and metadata curation. The experimental scientist will play a central role in the safe technical training and mentoring of staff, students and visitors, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Isolation and preservation of microorganisms for further analysis;
  • Performing routine phenotypic and genotypic identification and qPCR analysis
