MIGRATION COUNTER (3) for fall migration monitoring projects at New Jersey Audubon’s Cape May Bird Observatory, Cape May, NJ.  Cape May is one of the premier fall migration hot spots in the country.  Specifically, we are hiring a counter for the Cape May Hawkwatch Full time 40 hrs/week (September 1 to December 3), a counter for the Avalon Seawatch Full time 40 hrs/week (September 22 to December 24), and a counter for the Cape May Morning Flight Project (August 1 to November 15/part time – 30 hrs/week).  NJA fosters the application of sound scientific principles and practices to address conservation issues related to vertebrate and invertebrate fauna, and the natural habitats with which they are associated. Duties:
  • Identify and count all migrating rap
