The Federal Policy Manager supports Oceana’s U.S. plastics campaign to protect the oceans from plastic pollution by reducing the production and use of single-use plastic. The Federal Policy Manager leads the campaign’s federal advocacy with Congress and the executive branch, under the direction of the campaign director and in collaboration with the field, communications, science, and legal teams. The Federal Policy Manager also assist with state and local advocacy on reducing single-use plastics, as well as other Oceana campaigns and fulfilling other organizational objectives. The position is based in Washington, D.C. Occasional travel is required.
