General Summary The Federal Policy Manager will primarily support Oceana’s U.S. Plastics Campaign to protect the oceans from plastic pollution by reducing the production and use of single-use plastic. The Federal Policy Manager will lead the campaign’s federal advocacy with Congress and the executive branch, under the direction of the campaign director and in collaboration with the field, communications, science, legal, and development teams. The Federal Policy Manager will also assist with state and local advocacy on reducing single-use plastics, as well as other Oceana campaigns and fulfilling other organizational objectives.
