Position Summary  Members of the Urban Forestry Team will work together to learn and practice tree care to support Chicago and North West Indiana’s urban canopy. We meet online virtually for an hour and a half to learn about the benefits of more trees in the community, tree maintenance and care. The crew will then meet on Saturday for a seven hour workday putting what they learned online to practice. The team will work on urban forestry projects including tree maintenance, watering, mulching, invasive species removal, and related projects in multiple neighborhoods of Chicago\ North West Indianan, while practicing job readiness skills.
