An exciting opportunity exists for a Fish and Wildlife Biologist to join a team of employees within the Wildlife and Habitat Management Section in assisting with the management of a lead Wildlife Management Area (WMA).  FWC’s Southwest Region is seeking a motivated applicant that is willing and able to work outdoors in a variety of conditions throughout the year in fulfillment of their job responsibilities.  Primary responsibilities will be assisting with the planning, development, and implementation of management programs, including those for maintaining and perpetuating native wildlife populations, for Chassahowitzka WMA.  The incumbent will be a critical member of the area’s prescribed burn team and will also assist with mechanical and chemical control of native and exotic vegeta
