SCA Interns assigned to this position are tasked with working hand in hand with the Supervisory Fish Biologist as he/she inspects and monitors dam operations for safe fish passage operations (turbine units, spillway, fish collection systems, guidance apparatuses, weir gates and hydrologic regimes) in accordance with established criteria. Responsible for the physiological condition of fish while in the collection facility or transportation barges and in operational procedures and acts as technical advisor during implementation of facility modifications. Responsible for the development, scheduling, direction and evaluation of the juvenile fish passage, collection, and transportation program at the operating project. Intern will monitor and maintain proper operation of the bypass gallery
