Sacramento River Non-natal Rearing Evaluation and Restoration project, addresses the Central Valley Project Improvement Act (CVPIA) recovery goals and actions for the Upper Sacramento River and miscellaneous tributaries by identifying baseline non-natal stream utilization. As well as identifying opportunities for habitat improvement, increased juvenile fish use of non-natal tributaries and increased spawning habitat production. The candidate must be able to conduct physically challenging field work in potentially stressful situations, all while maintaining a positive attitude and encouraging crew members to do the same.
