The Lower Yuba River Accord (Accord) is a comprehensive settlement and flow agreement to provide long-term sustainable water for agricultural and environmental needs on the lower Yuba River. A monitoring and evaluation plan has been developed to evaluate the efficacy of the prescribed Accord flow schedules and their protectiveness of lower Yuba River aquatic resources. Under the supervision of a Project Manager and a Lead Biologist, the fisheries technician will be responsible for supporting biologists with daily field activities and data collection efforts for multiple adult salmonid monitoring projects on the Lower Yuba River. Successful candidates will participate in survey crews that conduct anadromous fish escapement (e.g.,carcass), redd surveys, and predation surveys.
