The Land Conservation and Planning (LCP) subsection has program responsibilities that include administration and implementation of the FWC’s land acquisition and land management planning programs, as well as numerous other types of land conservation and management work projects on a statewide basis. These include: FWC liaison to the Acquisition and Restoration Council (ARC); administering and implementing the FWC’s Land Management Planning Program; the FWC Florida Forever Inholdings and Additions Land Acquisition Program; intra-agency, inter-agency, and stakeholder coordination; and public meeting facilitation.
