This unclassified, full-time position is located in the Dodge City District Office in the Wildlife Division and is directly supervised by Aaron Baugh, Fisheries/Wildlife Biologist Supervisor. This position administers the private lands program of the Wildlife Division in three western Kansas counties, Lane, Gray and Haskell. Private land work involves contracting over 25,000 acres of Walk-In Hunting Access, VPA-HIP, HACH, and Special Hunts on Private Lands within the three county District. Additional duties include providing wildlife habitat technical and financial assistance through the Departments Habitat First program, addressing wildlife disease and animal damage issues, and working with NRCS, FSA, Ducks Unlimited and other partners to maximize wildlife habitats within the three cou
