Two technicians needed for a seasonal OPS position (approx. January through June) supporting studies of wading bird prey in the Florida Everglades. Duties for all positions include field sampling of fish and macro-invertebrates, GIS and GPS data collection, and fish and macro-invertebrate identification and processing in the lab. Sampling is conducted by helicopter across the entire Everglades system. Technicians will also have the opportunity participate in other ongoing research projects within the lab. Salary is ~$2800-3000/month. Technicians must provide own housing and transportation to Florida Atlantic University.
