The Forest Ecologist at Sierra Streams Institute (SSI) will take on the role of Project Manager for multiple forest health activities currently underway at SSI. These activities include:
  • Fuel Reduction and Forest Health Planning on Federal Lands
  • Fuel Reduction and Forest Health Planning on Private Lands
  • Interfacing with Federal and Private landowners and partners
  • Working with the Executive Director on community outreach related to forest health and fire likelihood
  • Continued development of community resources for assessing Forest Health
Hours: 30-40/week average (flexible schedule).

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. or higher in Forest Ecology, Forestry, Environmen
