Summary

This position is located on the Cherokee National Forest, Supervisor's Office. This position is located on a National Forest where the incumbent serves as the Forest Planner and Environmental Coordinator for the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), Objections, Litigations, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Responsibilities

  • Lead interdisciplinary teams for land management planning.
  • Evaluate NEPA plan effectiveness and compliance with law and regulation.
  • Implement and maintain resource management monitoring plans.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on land management plans, laws and regulations.
  • Review environmental documents prepared
