Indigenous and customary land owners are facing massive pressures including from illegal logging and palm oil expansion. Their lands, livelihoods and cultures are under threat and many have been attacked and killed for defending their ancestral territories. Forest Peoples Programme is a dynamic human rights organisation that supports people who live in tropical forests and depend on them for their livelihoods.
