The consultant will be expected to develop two written deliverables as well as perform satisfactory, on-going support to the BirdLife Americas Conservation Team while our Forest Programme Officer is on maternity leave.

The principal focus of the consultant will be to support the planning and implementation of a mid-term evaluation of a 4-year, regional project that focuses on forest conservation, restoration and the development of sustainable livelihoods in the Atlantic Forest (Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina).  The consultant will also be responsible for developing a quarterly newsletter and other communications materials for the same project, which will highlight some of the most important results the project generated in 2020.

The consulta
