Overview The Forest Restoration Technician will assist with SYRCL’s (pronounced “circle”) forest conservation work throughout the Yuba River watershed. SYRCL’s forest health program’s primary goals include improving forest health and resiliency, engaging diverse stakeholders throughout the Yuba River watershed to promote and implement forest health projects, implementing restoration and monitoring projects, and raising funds through collaborative grant requests and alternative funding streams. SYRCL’s forest health work has rapidly accelerated since 2019 with receipt of funding from the CA Department of Conservation, Yuba Water Agency, US Forest Service, National Forest Foundation, and the Wildlife Conservation Board.
