Foresters perform professional duties in forestry, natural resource management and conservation, fire prevention and suppression, and related areas. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. As the lead Forester for the Nevada Tahoe Resource Team (NTRT) provided through the Nevada Division of Forestry (NDF), this position is responsible for directing and implementing forest health and resource management projects on Nevada State Park lands in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
