The Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District (TCRCD) has an opening for a qualified Forester. This Forester will be an affiliate of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), US Department of Agriculture (USDA) 90% of the time, and a TCRCD project technician 10% of the time. The successful applicant will work out of our Sonora District office once fully trained. This successful applicant will also train to become a Registered Professional Forester.

Position Description

  • Provide technical assistance to private landowners to conserve and/or enhance forests, woodlands and ranchland.
