You will serve the Indiana Army National Guard (INARNG) as a Forester, providing specialized, technical knowledge to the INARNG. You will implement the forestry components of the INARNG’s Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP).  Generally, day to day efforts will focus on forest resources within the ~34,250- acre Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center (CAJMTC) and the ~1,000-acre Muscatatuck Urban Training Center.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry, Dendrology, or a closely related field.
  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Red card certification; may occur post.
  • Thorough knowledge of forestry and forest management.
