Job description Background information on Bedgebury and the East England Forest District: The Forestry Commission is part of the government Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and is tasked with the sustainable management of the Public Forest Estate for timber, recreation and wildlife. The East England Forest District (EEFD) is responsible for managing circa 35,000ha of Public Forest Estate land from Norfolk to East Sussex, including Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest.
