South England Forest District receives some 20 million day visits by the public each year and includes two major Forest Centres at Moors Valley Country Park and Alice Holt Forest. Moors Valley Country Park is the busiest Forest Centre on the Forestry Commission estate and is managed in partnership with Christchurch and East Dorset District Council (CEDDC). Moors Valley is located between the New Forest and Bournemouth, on the Dorset/Hampshire border. There are in excess of 850,000 visitors each year making use of the following facilities and services.
