Summary This is a district Ecologist role forming part of a small team leading on Ecology and Heritage throughout Central England Forest District. Central Forest District is responsible for the management of almost 30,000 ha of the Public Forest Estate within a triangle formed by Blackpool, Hull and Milton Keynes. The district contains some of the busiest public woodland in the UK; provides a supply of timber supporting the UK timber industry; but also supports a wide range of important habitats and rare and important species.
