FFA is looking for a full time Monitoring, Control and Surveillance Adviser to join our Team in Honiara, Solomon Islands. The MCS Adviser role is a 2 year contract position and possible renewal for a further 2 years. Working on the Pacific European Union Marine Partnership Programme (PEUMP), you will primarily be responsible for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of regional MCS efforts, including assisting Pacific ACP countries in their efforts to reduce and eliminate IUU fishing. Your Key Responsibilities Some of your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to); - Participating in the systematic analysis of IUU fishing activities in the region, including the establishment and maintenance of systems for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of MCS activities; -
