We are recruiting a freshwater ecologist to join our freshwater and wetlands group to help deliver our strategic objectives in response to the climate and biodiversity emergencies. Although primarily a freshwater post, an interest in lowland wetlands would be advantageous. As a specialist adviser within the Freshwater & Wetlands team in the Biodiversity & Geodiversity activity you will advise colleagues and partners on appropriate conservation management of freshwaters. In particular, work relating to freshwater invasive non-native species; advice on casework affecting salmonids; water quality and sedimentation, including the impacts of aquaculture and renewable energy.
