Freshwater Habitats Trust is recruiting a Senior Freshwater Invertebrate Biologist based in our Oxford office with regular travel to sites. We are looking for an experienced freshwater invertebrate biologist to undertake standard freshwater invertebrate surveys of streams, ponds, ditches and other freshwater habitats, and to identify invertebrate samples at both family and species level. The appointee should be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse and report results in writing and verbally and, ideally, to design, develop and implement new projects. Travel to survey locations will require a full driving licence and use of own car

For the right person this is a significant opportunity to develop skills and experience and make a substantial contribution to the conservation of freshwater invertebrates and their habitats, with a particular focus on small waters and the protected species they support.
