The GIS Coordinator is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the geomatics infrastructure for the Environment Office of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation. This is inclusive of digitized mapping products, services and tools to manage geographic data and in providing technical advisory/support for the Office. The two main functions of the GIS Coordinator are the establishment and maintenance of geomatics infrastructure and the provision of GIS support to Environment Office initiatives in land and resource planning, as well as the duty to consult and accommodate.
