This position will play a key role within the Mapping and Geospatial Information Centre (MAGIC) at the British Antarctic Survey, providing essential geospatial support to the organisation. Our team delivers a wide range of geospatial support to BAS’ science and operations programmes, including use of GIS and a wide range of geospatial data. This role will provide geospatial expertise across a number of areas including answering support requests from colleagues, management and publication of geospatial data and manipulating of data in GIS systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who will enjoy working in an enthusiastic geospatial team across a wide range of BAS science and logistics activity. Our work is interesting, varied and this is a great chance to get some excellent experience in a dynamic geospatial team.
