The Global Safety & Security Director (GSSD) will lead the Global Conservation Program’s risk, safe, and security management. The objective of this position will be to design and deliver a centralized, coherent, and robust overall approach to managing activity-based risk, safety, and security across WCS’s global portfolio.  The GSSD will be responsible for helping establish policy and protocols for what activities GCP can undertake and under what circumstances and with what capacities, providing expert advice and direction on best practices to reduce risk, and improve overall safety and security of WCS’s field-based work around the world.
