We are looking for an Environment Officer with flood management experience to deliver a rolling programme of flood mitigation and biodiversity improvement projects across Gloucester City and into neighbouring districts. The post holder will actively engage with the local community as well as other stakeholders to help manage surface water and riparian flooding for the wider benefit of local residents, business and wildlife. Gloucester is a leader in the ‘Asset Based Community Development’ (ABCD) model of service provision; as such the post holder will be expected to work with the community and stakeholders to help deliver flood management and biodiversity schemes.
