In cooperation with the Pacific Southwest Research Station, the Great Basin Institute is recruiting a Wildlife Research Assistant. The Assistant will provide technical assistance to professional and technical research personnel by accomplishing biological support work for the Kings River Fisher Project. The assistant’s duties will focus largely on supporting wildlife-related research on fishers (Pekania pennanti) in the southern Sierra Nevada. The assistant’s duties will be largely office-based (~80%), with some opportunities to help with ongoing field work (~20%).
