Canaan Valley Institute (CVI) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), West Virginia Field Office (WVFO), Partners for Fish & Wildlife Program are seeking 1-2 Habitat Restoration Specialists. The position(s) will assist with the development and implementation of conservation and habitat restoration projects on private lands throughout West Virginia to enhance and protect habitat for federal trust species and other associated wildlife. The position(s) are ecologically focused and will support projects as part of a team and independently. Restoration work may include habitat enhancement, stream bank stabilization, invasive eradication, forest stand improvement, water quality improvements, culvert replacements, dam removals, in stream habitat improvement and riparian / pollinator
