The Bird Aware Solent ranger team are looking for a new enthusiastic member to engage with local communities to raise awareness of overwintering shorebirds within the Solent Special Protection Areas (SPAs). Bird Aware Solent aims to reduce disturbance to shorebirds through influencing the behaviour of visitors. This is a temporary role to assist the Bird Aware Solent team. The post holder must have excellent communication skills, and be especially confident and interested in working with people of all ages and backgrounds to ensure positive engagement and secure behaviour change. They must have a driving license and use of their own vehicle for work purposes.
