Lead a transformation at landscape scale to reverse the loss of biodiversity in the National Park and beyond, over the long term. To foster sustainable partnerships aimed at increasing the resources and land in the National Park managed, for nature recovery and recreational purposes. Develop and support a vision to maximise the contribution of heritage assets in the National Parks to support conservation, lifelong learning and cultural enrichment.

Responsibilities

  • To lead, develop and implement the Authority’s Nature Recovery Plan to ensure that the Authority is on target to reverse the loss of biodiversity in the National Park and meet the 30 x 30 targets.
  • To maximise the Authority’s impact through effective leadership of the Countryside Manage
