Headwaters Corporation is soliciting candidates to lead a team of ecologists and wildlife biologists that conduct endangered species research and monitoring with a focus on the Platte River Recovery Implementation Program (PRRIP). Headwaters serves in a unique role as a private consulting firm that carries out the day-to-day functions of PRRIP implementation. This includes PRRIP administration, managing the PRRIP’s land and water resources, and implementation of a robust adaptive management program to inform the use of those resources. The Headwaters biology/ecology team includes a whooping crane biologist, least tern/piping plover biologist, spatial biologist (drone pilot and remote camera monitoring), and a statistical ecologist.
