The Great Basin Institute, in cooperation with the US Forest Service’s Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit (LTBMU) is recruiting (2) Heavenly Interpretive Rangers to educate the public and provide a Forest Service presence in South Lake Tahoe. Technicians will be present at Heavenly Mountain Resort Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – conducting mostly Ranger guided hikes for the public. Technicians will be present as front rangers at Taylor Creek Visitor Center, in South Lake Tahoe, on Wednesdays and Thursdays; holiday and weekend work are expected and schedule is subject to change.
