Herefordshire Wildlife Trust are working with the Environment Agency and other partners in the Catchment of the River Lugg to improve habitats and reduce pollution, to bring the internationally protected Lugg Special Area of Conservation (SAC) into good ecological condition. An important part of this programme is working with farmers and landowners to improve riparian habitats and reduce diffuse agricultural pollution into rivers and streams.
