The Electronic Monitoring Specialist is responsible for engaging with industry, government, and local partners in Ecuador, Peru, and Chile, to advance the application of electronic monitoring to improve fisheries transparency and enhance ecological and socio-economic resilience across large-scale fisheries in the Humboldt Current. The Electronic Monitoring Specialist reports to the Humboldt Current Iconic Place, with a dotted line into the global Large Scale Fisheries strategy team. Working closely with TNC country programs of Ecuador, Peru, and Chile, and global teams, he/she may drive and contribute to strategy design, coordinate implementation, and facilitate adaptive management.
