Description: The Deer Biologist functions at a professional level in the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Fish and Wildlife and is responsible for the administration and implementation of all facets of Indiana’s statewide white-tailed deer program. Incumbent designs, coordinates, and conducts scientific investigations to address the population ecology and management of white-tailed deer in Indiana. Incumbent serves as Indiana’s technical representative to local, state, regional, and national resource agencies, working groups, private conservation organizations, and professional societies.
