Inland Fisheries Ireland is the state agency responsible for the protection, management and conservation of Ireland's inland fisheries and sea angling resources. The Research Officer will be responsible for the day to day delivery of part of Inland Fisheries Ireland’s Water Framework Directive fish monitoring programme. He/she will supervise and carry out the necessary fish stock surveys using standard European fish sampling methodologies and compile relevant biotic and abiotic information for a range of waterbodies.
