The International Crane Foundation (ICF) is looking for two community-oriented team members to provide outreach on conservation efforts for the endangered Whooping Crane beginning in September 2019 through early March 2020. One position will be based in Indiana, the other in Alabama. The positions are limited-term employment opportunities beginning with a one-month training session in Baraboo, WI. After this initial learning session, the Program Assistants will be leading efforts in Indiana (based near Linton, Indiana) and Alabama (based in Decatur, Alabama) to educate residents on the conservation efforts used to protect Whooping Cranes. Indiana The Program Assistant will be located near Linton, Indiana. Alabama  The Program Assistant is based at Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge.
