The International Whaling Commission Secretariat is currently recruiting a Lead

Lead for Science
The IWC Secretariat is recruiting a new lead for science. This is an important
role, providing support to the Scientific Committee, its leadership, meetings
and work programme. The wide-ranging responsibilities of the post also include
facilitating communication and co-ordination between science and other areas of
the IWC work programme, supporting the strategic development of the
Secretariat, and management of a small team. The postholder is also Editor of
the Journal of Cetacean Research and Management.
The successful candidate will:
* hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (Zoology, Marine
Biology, Fisheries Science,
