This is an important role, providing support to the Scientific Committee, its leadership, meetings and work programme. The wide-ranging responsibilities of the post also include facilitating communication and co-ordination between science and other areas of the IWC work programme, supporting the strategic development of the Secretariat, and management of a small team.
