About the role An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Biodiversity Warden to work within the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture for 1 year. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Ayres National Nature Reserve. This role also includes undertaking some ecological monitoring and assessments on the DEFA Estate and on privately owned land. In addition, you may be required to assist the Ecosystem Policy Team with the delivery of the Biodiversity Strategy and assist the Ranger Team with duties on the DEFA Estate. The Ayres NNR forms one of the main core zones of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man and is one of the Island’s most important sites for biodiversity.
